OPP Investigate Vandalism at Mono-Amaranth Public School

Town of Mono, ON (OPP - Dufferin Detachment) On Tuesday December 8th, 2015 at 8:15 am, Dufferin OPP officers were dispatched to the Mono-Amaranth Public School with a report of graffiti on school property.



Upon arrival at 08:35 am, spoke to Police spoke with the school principal. Investigation revealed between 6:30 pm on December 7 and 8:00 am on December persons unknown painted graffiti on the rear north side of school and on a portable classroom. Vandals using black and white spray paint painted the words "SOOL" on the portable classroom. At the rear of the school, on the brick which faces the north side, the letters "GOAL" written in black spray paint in white quotations. This type of senseless damage is costly to taxpayer and Upper Grand School Board officials
