Stunt Driver Charged in Mono

Mono, ON (OPP - Dufferin Detachment) On June 24, 2014, an officer from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement in the Town of Mono.  The officer observed a 2014 Dodge Caravan   travelling southbound on King's Highway 10 near Monora Park in the Town of Mono  at a high rate of speed.  She  determined that the driver was operating the vehicle at 155 km/hr. in a 60 km/hr. zone.


As a result of the traffic stop, a 24 year old male of Caledon East,Ontario  was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle.

The vehicle was impounded for seven days as a result of the stunt driving charge.

The driver is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date.
