OPP Remind Motorists Not To Block Driveways

(Dufferin County, ON) On May 2 , 2013 Dufferin O.P.P. received complaints about vehicles parked blocking driveways in village of Mono Centre within Town of Mono in Dufferin County
Police remind motorists of following

The County TRAFFIC BY-LAW 2005-32 Sec. 7 (8) states the following…


No person shall park a vehicle on a highway:
(a) for a longer period of time than three hours;
(b) between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.;
(c) in front of or within 6 metres of a driveway or laneway along a
roadway where the speed zone is higher than 50 km/hr and in front
of or within 3 metres of a driveway or laneway, along a roadway
where the speed limit is 50 km/hr or less or so as to obstruct vehicles
in the use of a driveway or laneway
