OPP Investigate Daytime Break and Enter in Mono

(Town of Mono, ON) On 3 MAY 2013 Dufferin OPP were dispatched to a report of a Break and Enter on Bayberry Rd in Mono. The home-owner was outside doing yard work with his garage doors open and doors unlocked. During this time persons unknown entered the unlocked residence and stole jewellery and cash from the master bedroom. An older model silver sedan (possibly a Nissan Altima) was seen driving up and down the street several times. The vehicle had tinted windows and was being driven by a white male wearing glasses. A second white male with a heavy set build was seen walking in the area.


Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.
