OPP Investigate Dog Theft in Mono

(Mono,ON)- On Wednesday June 27th 2012, Dufferin OPP were dispatched to a report of theft of 5 Chihuahua Puppies from a residence on Highway 10 in Town of Mono.

A Preliminary Investigation revealed that between 6:00pm - 6:45pm, unknown female person entered the home on Highway 10 in Mono and stole 5 Chihuahua puppies that are 11 weeks old. Two puppies are black and white, 1 puppy is brown and white, 1 puppy is black and brown and the last puppy is black and light brown.


The female suspect has been described as being approximately 40 years of age with, dirty blond hair, slim build and has a red mole at the end of her nose. She was driving a dark coloured vehicle, possibly a mini van that has a scratch along the driver’s side door and rear passenger side door.
