RIDE Program Results for February 15 to 28, 2016

(DUFFERIN COUNTY, ON) –Dufferin OPP were kept busy with RIDE programs for the period of February 15 to 28, 2016. Here are the results:

Between February 15 and 21, 2016 18 R.I.D.E. Programs were conducted. As a result the following
were issued:

- 17 roadside screening tests conducted
- 13 Provincial Offence Tickets were issued
- 1 three Day Suspension
- 7 Part 3 Highway Traffic Act Charges
- 2 Warnings

Between Feb 22 and 28, 2016 in the past week 6 R.I.D.E. Programs were conducted. As a result the
following were issued:

- 4 roadside screening tests conducted
- 16 Provincial Offence Notices were issued
- 1 Warnings
- 1 CDSA Charge (illegal drug)

All other drivers were in compliance with the HTA and Criminal Code as it relates to drinking and driving. However several charges for other offences were given.
