OPP Investigate Three Incidents of Mischief

Dufferin County, ON (OPP - Dufferin Detachment) Dufferin OPP responded to 3 incidents of Mischief involving Canada Post mailboxes being smashed and pried open in Town of Mono and Township of Amaranth.


The first incident was reported on February 1, 2016 at 12:13 pm on the 25th Side road and upon arrival police found mailbox completely smashed and mail missing from it

The second incident occurred on February 11,2016 was also on the 25th Side road in Amaranth Township upon arrival at 6:01 pm police found one mailbox pried open and another one had attempted to be pried open

On the third incident on February 15, 2016 on Blind Line south of 89 in Town of Mono where culprits also pried open Canada Post mailboxes and stole mail

Police have no suspects in these incidents. If anyone has any information in relation to these mischief and theft incidents please contact Dufferin OPP at (519)-925-3838 or by calling Crimestoppers.
