OPP Release Results of First Part of Distracted Driving Campaign

Dufferin County, ON (OPP - Dufferin Detachment) Dufferin OPP officers were kept busy in first half of Distracted Driving campaign with the following results:

Distracted Driving Charges 10

Total Number of Provincial Offence Tickets 139

(including speeding/No insurance card)

Traffic Enforcement Hours 131.25

The interim results are concerning since motorists are still using cellphones while driving and continue to exceed speed limit putting themselves and other citizens at risk.
