OPP Investigate Break and Enter in Amaranth

Amaranth, ON (OPP - Dufferin Detachment) At 4:53 pm June 17,2014 Dufferin OPP were dispatched to a Break & Enter that occurred on the 25 Side Road of Amaranth Township.

Preliminary Investigation reveals the Break in  occurred between 7:30 am and 1:30 pm a residence was entered and 5 long guns and several thousand dollars’ worth of power tools and chainsaws were taken from the residence.


The examination of the scene revealed tinted glass fragments of a shattered rear window of a sport utility vehicle were left at the scene.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance with any information about a SUV travelling in the area of Dufferin Wellington,and Simcoe Counties as well as , Peel Region the 17th of June 2014 with the rear window(s) smashed out.
