Crime Stoppers is an independent, non-profit charitable organization that works with the Police, Media and Community to solve crime through the collection of anonymous tips from the public. These tips have helped local Police to arrest 3,842 people, clear 6,075 cases and seize over $56 million in illicit drugs during the rich 26-year history of our program.
Fundraising events, such as the Gala, are important for the sustainability of our program because we do not receive financial support from any level of government, instead our operations are financed by our own fundraising initiatives with the help of our volunteers who organize events and promote Crime Stoppers in their respective communities.
Please join us on Saturday, November 2nd at the Silvernightingale Ballroom at Casino Rama to help us continue this long history of solving crime and keeping our communities safe.
