(East Garafraxa, ON) On September 20, 2012 at 0512 hours Dufferin OPP were dispatched to a Truck versus Moose Single motor vehicle collision with no injuries on Dufferin County Road #24 in East Garafraxa Township.
Upon arrival at 5:37 a.m. police found minimal damage to the front left corner of the GMC pick up truck. The 29 year old driver was uninjured in the collision. The moose was in the South Bound Ditch and had to be dispatched because it was injured.

Dufferin County Roads attended and removed the moose carcass. The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources were advised
This is an unusual occurrence as Moose are not normally found in Dufferin County.
